Directions to Center for Ceramic Research - Rutgers University
FROM ROUTE 287
" * Route 287- From Somerville, Morristown & Northwest
- Follow Interstate 287 South to Exit 9, Highland Park. (Exit comes up quickly, with heavy traffic merge after Easton Avenue/ New Brunswick exit.)
- At the end of exit ramp, turn right onto River Road, following the signs to Highland Park.
- Go ~3 miles till you see a green bridge curving across the Raritan River on your right. You will have passed the Rutgers Stadium on your left. Go under the newly constructed overpass for Rt 18.
- Immediately after that you will see a sign for Rt 18N. Make the left at that light.
- You will be on Rt18 for about 0.2miles and exit immediately to your right. This is the Busch Campus/Stadium - Stadium Road exit.
- Proceed to circle (Werblin Athletic Center) proceed into circle and make first right onto Bartholomew Road
- Proceed to first intersection (4-way Stop) and turn left onto Brett Road
- Proceed to first intersection (parking lots). Just before parking lots, turn right onto Bowser Rd
- Go to furthest, innermost parking lot - a left turn near the Student Center & Dining Facilities
- You will see "Civil Engineering Laboratory" building at the end of the parking lot.
- Park as close as possible to this.
- Walk towards the right of "Civil Engineering Laboratory" building
- The Fiber Optics Research Building is to your right.
- Prof. Haber's office is in the Fiber Optics Building on the 2nd Floor, Room 201, Phone 732-445-4931
- Call when you get to the parking lot and I will bring you a parking pass.
FROM NJ Turnpike or Route 1 - Newark Airport, New York & Philadelphia:
- Turnpike: Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 9, New Brunswick.
- Bear to the right through the toll.
- Go right onto Route 18 North, New Brunswick.
- On route 18 North drive ~4 miles
- Proceed across the Lynch Bridge, Route 18 N
- Take the second exit, Busch Campus/Stadium - Stadium Road
- Proceed to circle (Werblin Athletic Center) proceed into circle and make first right onto Bartholomew Road
